Synopsis
While Elka begins her trial, Joy gets tangled in a scandal involving the First Lady of Ohio.
The midseason finale turns out to be a bit of a letdown in my eyes. This was a show that was really hitting its stride this year, but the finale fell a little bit flat in my mind. Sherri Shepherd is just not funny and the quicker people realize that the better off the comedy world will be. But the fact that they devoted so much time to the trial was another mistake as well as continuing storylines should not be the focus of Hot in Cleveland, but rather one-off episodes.
I laughed, but I would hardly call this a great finale.
