Synopsis
Megan and her team must piece a victim back together when body parts turn up in a back alley. Lacey gets Megan's reluctant permission to film her at work for her school video essay project which in turn has a profound effect on Lacey's view of her mother.
Another very nice instalment of Body of Proof. The writers find another way to give the show a nice comic edge with Lacey coming to the office to get research for a project. By convincing the men of the office to break her mother's rules about what can be seen and what cant be seen we get some very nice comic scenes. We also have a beautiful sequence in which Megan tells Lacey about the meaning behind her job and mother and daughter have their first connection.
Also a very nice mystery this week with plenty of nice twists and turns. Would have to say the best mystery so far accept that too many people got accused of the murder before the final killer is revealed but I suppose that just adds to the drama of this illusive figure.
Loved the final scene that closed the episode in which Megan sees her daughters class video. A very moving scene that really will help set this show apart. It was a defining moment for the mother and daughter's relationship and just shows how heartfelt a series like this can be. Had to change my rating to 10 out of 10 cause I just felt this episode had so much to offer. :)
